4th of July

Well, technically these pictures are from the 3rd of July but its all the same. We went to Rigby Lake for the firworks. It was nice all day then it rained and hailed right when we got there. It passed over and we ended up having a lot of fun. Even though i didnt end up with any pictures of them, my parents and brother got to be with us over the weekend. It was so fun to see Hudson cuddling up with my mom and dad by the camp fire. My kiddos sure loved having them here.
Here is Paul and Hudson both giving me a "why are you taking my picture" look.Brian is posing my the beach cruisers they brought along.
Paul had fun shuttling the kids back and forth on the little ducky.

Autumn Faye's Baby Blessing

My cousin and his wife had their baby 2 weeks ago and this past weekend we got to go to the baby blessing. Seeing these new babies is getting me so excited and nervous at the same time. I am SUPER nervous as to how i am going to manage 3. Anyways, Chelsea wanted me to make a cake for the blessing and this is what i came up with.

Gotta Love Camping!

Lately Paul has been wanting to take Hudson camping. I don't really feel like sleeping in a tent (camping and 8 month pregnant women dont mesh well) or dealing with Bella in a tent. So, we will all go and about 7:00 I will take Bella home to bed. Sarah and Brian came with us this last time and brought their razor. The kids had a blast. Here is hudson discovering that marshmallows light on fire.

The kids wanted to ride in Brians Razor the whole evening. It was a blast.
Hudson fell asleep on the drive out and waking him up is sometimes a big mistake. He was a major grump here. It just so happens that Bella walked straight into the picnic table at the same time and they both wanted me to hold them. Even though they were both crying I managed to smile for the picture : )

Random Summer Pictures

Here are a few pictures of our summer adventures. My friend Melinda and I are on our own a lot durring the summer. Paul and her husband Jeff work together and travel a lot. We love to get the kids together and do a sleep over. That way Melinda and I can do a craft/movie/whatever after the kids go to bed and not have to get a sitter. Its good to get some girl time in and the kids play so well together.
The bike trialer is always fun, but Bella isnt aware that Hudson might want some personal space. She is all over him in that thing. The latest is that she reached over and grabbed his sunglasses off and snapped them in half. After that he wanted to wear bella's other pair. Paul wasnt the biggest fan of this picture.
This picture is for my sister Lynnea. She LOVED this bear, but since she in in Denver and the bear was here with me in Idaho, i finally talked her into giving it to DI. Cute, but just too big to be hanging out here.
No, my son is not dead. His amazingly white skin might lead you to believe otherwise, but he is actually just asleep. This is actually hudsons first full camping trip. We tried a while ago and he just screamed until 4am when we just packed up and drove home. Paul has taken him a for a few quick overnighters since then and Hudson LOVES it!

Crazy Sleeping Habits

Paul and I love to go in and check on the kids before we go to bed. We just never know how we are going to find them. This is how we found Hudson sleeping a few weeks ago. He had been playing with his animals on the shelf and i guess just thought it looked comfy.

As I have said before. Hudson is REALLY into animals/dinosaurs right now. So much that this is what we found when he got up from his nap (not much sleeping actually occured).
Bella, on the other hand, scares me. She loves to cover her head up. In her crib it was under the bumpers and now that she is in a big bed its under blankets, stuffed animals or whatever she can find.

Memorial Day...I know, i know, I am way behind on my posts

These are just a few of the cute pictures from Memorial Day. We had a bbq with Brian and Sarah and the kids just played with the hose. Pretty laid back. Here is Hudson after discovering the hose.

Sarah and Bella just laying out.

Bella's being a cute little goof (note the hair actually fits in a tiny pony now...aka the palm tree)

This picture isnt from Memorial Day, but it was so cute i just had to post it.

I Can't Believe I Have a Three Year Old!

Hudson turned 3 about a month ago. We invited over a few friends, had a bbq and just relaxed. Here are a few pictures...this is the barn i made for him. We got a little fence for him to coral his animals with and he loves it! the pattern is from here.

Uncle Brian came to the rescue and bought him this dinosaur book (he is a little obsessed with them lately) Brian didn't know that we own that book, but it is in shreds. Hudson was so excited to have a new copy!

Bella had fun trying on peoples shoes. She is such a little fashonista. Always putting on jackets, shoes, necklaces, hair bows. Too funny!

Hudson LOVED his cake. He told everyone that he was going to have a dinosaur cake for about 2 weeks before the party. I tried to make it look like they were in dirt and mud with rocks and stuff. Paul said it just looked like frosting so just use your imagination.

This picture is after the fact, but there was quite a bit of drama surrounding these bikes. We got Hudson a bike for his birthday. Simple enough right? NO...we forgot to consider how Bella would react. It was a tear filled nightmare. Bella was heart broken. It was pretty cute to see Paul talking to her and trying to calm her down. He looked at here and said "Ok, lets get in the car. Wea are going to get Bella a bike too." Bella then repeated "Bella bike too please. Bella bike too please" about a million times on the way to wal-mart.

This picture was how Hudson looked about 10 min before his party was supposed to start. I tried waking him up from his rarely occuring nap for about 45 min. I thought moving him to the couch would wake him up but...no. He fell back asleep like this and was a major GRUMP for about the first hour of the party.

Pirate Party Pics

Here are the rest of the pictures from Dylans Pirate party! Finally huh...his birthday was only like 2 months ago. I have been really slow on the blog thing lately so hold on while i try and catch you up on our life!
