Done!

ok...so that was the fastest project ever. i was feeling like i had to get this done quick just in case i went into labor...no such luck! maybe now the baby can come knowing that he has a place to sleep close to mom and dad. I told paul i was using a laundry basket for a bassinet and he rolled his eyes at me.
His words when he saw it "wow...it actually looks good" Oh ye of little faith.

I have had some requests on a tutorial for this. Unfortunately i didnt make one at the time but I did get the idea from this tutorial... http://shinymetalobjects.net/pics/bassinets/Laundry_Basket_Bassinet.pdf
I added my own style by adding a longer skirt, a sewn on tie and used a pillow with a cozy minky cover for the matress. Have fun making your own!

We are expecting our first baby and we are excited to do a lot of things ourselves (we'll see how long that lasts).

Do you have any instructions for this nifty bassinet you could share? Please please pretty please?
